Molnár

Data engineer & data scientist

I work across the full data lifecycle, from collecting and structuring data to building the pipelines, modelling what comes through them and turning the result into insights and applications.

The design side is the part I like most: database structures, data models, and how systems fit together in a way that stays clean as they grow. I spend a lot of my time on logic-heavy and optimization problems, and I build the dashboards and small applications that put data in front of the people who need it.

  • Current position Data Engineer at HydrogenPro
  • Degree MSc Computer Science, Aarhus University

What I offer

IT and data solutions for smaller companies, built from scratch or on top of what you already have.

  • Web development: websites and internal web-based tools
  • Database solutions: design, migration, cleanup and optimization
  • Web and desktop applications: custom tools built around your workflows
  • Data pipelines: connecting systems and bringing your data into one place
  • Live data tracking: dashboards and monitoring for quick decisions
  • Automation: replacing repetitive manual tasks with reliable processes
  • Reporting & visualization: turning your data into useful reports and dashboards
  • System integration: making your existing tools and systems work together
  • IT infrastructure: setting up the foundations needed to manage your data and applications

What you get

  • Less time spent on manual work
  • A clear overview of your production data
  • Data-driven decisions
  • Less human error
  • Real-time data tracking
  • Faster problem detection
  • Lower operational costs
  • Ability to identify trends and inefficiencies

Experience

Data Engineer

HydrogenPro Aarhus

2026 to present

  • Designed and maintained Azure SQL databases for production systems, covering migration, schema design and performance optimization.
  • Built pipelines that carry data from manufacturing equipment through Azure IoT Hub into Azure SQL, so production data is collected and stored reliably.
  • Planned the database architecture and data models that reporting, analytics and application development are built on.
  • Developed internal tools and desktop applications in Python and PyQt to automate workflows and open up access to production data.

Data Scientist

Zeta Diagnostics Aarhus

2023 to 2025

  • Analysed audio signals in Python with Librosa and NumPy, writing custom filtering, feature extraction and preprocessing pipelines.
  • Developed and trained deep learning models in PyTorch, including CNN architectures for audio pattern recognition.
  • Built a PyQt application the research team used daily for data visualisation and model evaluation.

Junior System Engineer

Systematic Aarhus

2022 to 2023

  • Contributed to a large-scale military application used by European Union partners.
  • Migrated legacy components from AngularJS to Angular to improve maintainability and performance.
  • Implemented features, fixed bugs and tested across the stack in Java, Scala and SQL.

Software Developer Intern

Morgan Stanley Budapest

2020 to 2021

  • Developed a frontend application in Angular and TypeScript for investors to track stock prices.
  • Automated Python workflows that generated and stored daily Excel reports.
  • Integrated kdb+ as the data source, writing the queries that supplied time series data to the frontend.

Beyond work

  • Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

I hold a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu which I've been practicing since 2020. I also regularly participate in local Danish competitions.

  • Music

I played the Clarinet for 11 years, with solo performances and concerts as part of a quartet.

  • Rubik's Cube

I've learnt solving the Rubik's Cube when I was 11 and been hooked ever since. I still participate in speedcubing competitions when my time allows.

  • More music

Resident DJ at Studenterhuset Aarhus and Glitch Aarhus. I started in 2025 and have since moved on to producing electronic music.
